More than 15 years of big corporate life in the biopharmaceutical sector trained Daniela to design and implement market and business development strategies as well as leading transformation and cross-functional collaborative projects. This experience led her to the conclusion that disruptive innovation is better placed in the agile and flexible environment of a startup.
As CEO and Co-Founder of Sarcura Daniela is responsible for setting and managing the strategic direction of the venture and ensuring that the team has the resources and capabilities to go beyond limits and hit the next milestone.
Blessed (or cursed- the team is still not sure about that) with a very open mindset and rather low agreeableness, „WHY“ is her favourite question to challenge her environment and any existing status quo.
Daniela received her MBA in Innovation & Entrepreneurship from WU Executive Academy, Vienna, and holds an engineering degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology and Genetic.
Born in Vienna you may think her addiction of choice is coffee, but indeed Daniela will overcome any hurdle more or less patiently as long there is a decent supply of red reddish within her grasp.

Erwin is an experienced innovator with a scientific and industrial background in stem cell biology. At Fraunhofer he led interdisciplinary teams developing technologies and methods to expand, differentiate and genetically modify stem cells.
His broad experience in a wide range of human cellular systems makes him the perfect fit to lead Sarcura’s application development. The close interaction with users to evaluate cell manufacturing processes in detail is another core task for Erwin’s team. A deep understanding of existing and future customer needs is Sarcura’s foundation to develop flexible and reliable solutions.
Erwin received his doctoral degree from the medical faculty of the University of the Saarland and a diploma in Biology from the Technical University Darmstadt.
While Sarcura is growing and expanding its facility with new labs and office space, Erwin is pushing hard for a dedicated space to practice Yoga.

Else he always tries to do what he can, with what he has, where he is (this however does not apply in the bathtub, as Calvin & Hobbes suggest).
